Product Description Black and Decker F1060 Steam Advantage Iron. Smooth out wrinkles quickly and easily with this versatile iron. The unit features an INOX stainless-steel soleplate for gentle, effortless gliding, plus a pointed tip that works well for getting into pleats, between buttons, and along seams. Use the iron for everything from synthetics, nylon and silk, or polyester and rayon to cotton blends, wools, and cotton and linen. User-friendly controls provide a heat-setting number dial and two push buttons for spray mist and steam surge.

1st one died, 2nd one died August 31, 2010 Albert H. Doan (Alameda, CA United States) Ok, so I buy one, it dies after 4 months...then I buy the exact one, thinking that the first was a fluke, and the 2nd one dies after 6 months of use. AVOID THE HEADACHE.
Overall good iron August 30, 2010 Sonya Hui Price is great, stainless steel plate works great on my fabric without too much damage. The only small issue is that the dial is a bit stiff to turn. A design flaw. I think ridges may have helped to turn the dials a little easier than the rubberized version they have here. Overall, I can't complain though as the price is worth it.
Dead after 6 months August 21, 2010 G-Rapid (Grand Rapids, MI USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this in February of 2010 based on the positive Consumer Reports and Amazon reviews. For 6 months the iron did work fine, however it died (won't turn on and heat up) when plugged in as of August of 2010. There was no stress on the cord and we are not frequent ironers. So the only thing I can recommend from this purchase is "you get what you pay for".
Great value for the money August 15, 2010 don akins Steam at all heat settings works great! Great purchase for this amount of money.
Good price, efficient iron. August 9, 2010 New Jersey Parent (Somerville, NJ United States) This iron works well. I especially like that you don't have to empty the reservoir after each use. Self-clean feature seems fine. I only wish the cord retracted. Overall: good iron at a good price.
